studies of both Dutch Law and Criminology at the Free University of Amsterdam. Thesis: the draft of a regulation for complains on sexual harassment at the Fre University (with G. Romeijn).
1989 - 2000:
lawyer (attorney at law) at a women’s law-office (for and by women); specialised in family law and legal aid to victims of (sexual) violence. Member and coordinator of the working group on sexual violence of the Clara-Wichmann Institute.
2000 - still:
legal staff meber of the Clara Wichmann Institute (expert centre on women and law) on the subjects violence against women and international law/international contacts.
2002 - still:
director of the Clara Wichmann Institute

several annotations of court decisions on sexual violence for Nemesis, magazine on women and law; article on the meaning of the Compensation Fund for Criminal Injuries for victims of sexual violence (Nemesis 2001, 3).
