Equality Richts from Legislation to Everyday Life

The Greek Research Centre for Gender Equality (KETHI, www.kethi.gr) set up and coordinates the project "Equality Rights from Legislation to Everyday Life", which is financially supported by the European Commission.

The project offers a wide range of different activities as well on national as on international level:

  • Seminars with lawyers, labour inspectors and trade union officials
  • Radio programmes on public radio informing, advising and communicating with listerners on Equality rights
  • Brochure on exercising equality rights
  • Stands in the cities of Athens, Volos, Thessaloniki, Patras and Iraklion to distribute information and to discuss with women
  • Workshops with transnational partners
  • Good Practice Handbook for policy-makers

    The transnational partners contributing to the Good Practice Handbook are:
