Consultation by the European Commission: DRAFT CONVENTION ON EXCLUSIVE CHOICE OF COURT AGREEMENTS

European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice Addresses the Issue of Evaluating Judicial Systems
The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ)

met from 9-11 June 2004 in Strasbourg. At the meeting the Commission, among other issues, addressed the issue of evaluating judicial systems in the member States, on the basis of the replies to the Pilot-Scheme received at this stage. It also examined two reports "For optimal delays and a foreseeable judicial proceedings: Elements for an Action Plan" and "the responses of the judicial systems to terrorism."
